       I chose to do my assignment on Papa John's recent marketing strategy because I myself work at a known pizza chain and I thought it might be interesting to learn more about the marketing strategies used by similar companies. Another reason why I chose to write about Papa Johns is because I used to live near one in California and I was a customer of theirs for a couple of years.      Most people have heard of Papa Johns and their pizza. In the last 10 years, there has been a steady decline in the number of stores running in the United States; 5,096 stores in 2016 and 3,215 stores in 2026 (present day).      Hi everyone! My name is Alexander Ginebra, but I like to go by Alex. I am a student at LB going for my AAOT/business, and I plan on transferring to a university after I get complete all the things I need to do, not 100% sure where yet. I took this marketing class because I want to learn about consumers and how to better advertise your product.       Outside of school, I am a very outdoorsy person. Whether it be hiking, camping, backpacking, fishing, or even just sitting outside in my backyard, I really enjoy being outside. I also enjoy spending time with my friends, listening to music and collecting vinyl's, thrifting for clothes I like, trying new foods as well as cooking a lot of new things, and playing video games. My roommate has a cat named Mickey, so I am technically a cat dad but at heart I'm a dog person and one day I want a chocolate lab to call my own.
